Sovereign Citizen Charges Cop 100k For Every Time He Wrote His Name Because He Copyrighted It
For the first time in Canada, a man claiming to be a Freeman on the Land has been charged with what police call “paper terrorism.”
Allen Boisjoli, 45, has been charged with intimidation of a peace officer.
“The charge of intimidation has been laid before,” Edmonton police Det. Rae Gerrard said at a news conference Wednesday.
There is A LOT to unpack in this case. First, let’s watch what happened to get this whole ball rolling.
OFFICER: I clocked you at 105kmph and the speed limit is 80kmph.
Free Man: I didnt know speeding was a crime. Where’s the victim?
Right at that moment, the cop’s brain turned into an absolute pretzel and I’d venture to say he knew he had bitten off more than he could chew. Camel clutched the shit out of his brain.
Free Man: Is speeding a crime?
Officer: It’s against the law.
Free Man: I beg to differ.
And differ he did. Our Sovereign pal here took this officer to court after putting a lien on his house for 225 thousand dollars. That’s right, folks. He sued the cop that pulled him over for speeding for 225 thousand dollars.
I love these Sovereign citizen people. They are so damn wild.
It’s one thing to claim that you legally can’t be arrested just after you were arrested. It’s another thing to claim that speeding isn’t a crime because no one was hurt. It’s a whole different ball game when you put liens on the officer who pulled you over for speeding’s house. That’s bold. But, that’s what Free Men do. They sue and they don’t get tread on by the courts or law. Charging a police officer 100k dollars for every time he writes your name on a speeding ticket is next level and I’m disappointed as hell that I didn’t think of it first.
At least he gives the cop 7 days to get the money together. That’s a lenient and fair policy in my opinion.
